Just before I left for a year abroad in the UK, my father gave me my first camera. He told me to see everything and bring back the pictures. Decades have passed, and while I have certainly not seen everything, I am still bringing back the pictures.
Whether my photographic subject is fine art landscape, architecture, or portraits, photography is my means (and sometimes excuse) to travel and explore, to go to new places and revisit the familiar with new eyes.
